Multi car sensor and actuator tester

The HMP1 born as electronic body throttle tester.
But early grown new functions without loose a friendly usage.
Thanks to the screen you can have a easy read of the sensors data.
With a Heavy Duty manufacture for a long lifetime.

Throttle Pedal Test

-Informs the state of the TPS1 sensor (accelerator, pedal and tps)
-Informs TPS2 sensor status (accelerator, pedal)
-Gene a full report informing:
-Full sensor movement range TPS1
-Full range of movement of the TPS2 sensor
-Maximum difference between the TPS1 & TPS2 sensors
-Consumption of sensor set TPS
-Helps diagnose mechanical problems in the body of acceleration.

Usage Mode
1) Choose the correct cable for the pedal you want to test.

2) Connect the 12v and wait for the menu to appear on the screen.
3) Press the "+" and "-" buttons until you see "PEDAL" written.
image

4) Press OK and some numbers similar to those shown in the image will appear.

The data on the screen that you can read are:
Pdl
You are testing a pedal (apps)
14
It is the current value of TPS1 as a percentage
7
It is the current value of TPS2 as a percentage
D = 00
It is the difference between the ideal value of tps1 & tps2 and the measured value

5) Move the pedal slowly until reaching the bottom the sensors will show the new position.
The HMP1 makes about 500 readings per second, so it is necessary to slowly move the pedal for a correct test.
6) Pressing OK the HMP1 will show a complete report with all the data collected

Report Reading

Report

image
Pressing OK the HMP1 will show a complete report with all the data collected

TPS1

image
TPS1 report, you will see 2 values.
Bottom left
Minimum measured value of the track.
Bottom right
Maximum measured value of the track.

Here is the minimum and maximum value of TPS1 in percentage or volt
(The number in the photo is an example and can change in different accelerators)

TPS2

image
TPS2 report, you will see 2 values.
Bottom left
Minimum measured value of the track.
Bottom right
Maximum measured value of the track.

Here is the minimum and maximum value of the TPS2 in percentage or volt

Diff

image
It is the maximum difference found between the ideal relationship of TPS1 & TPS2 with the real relation. In this case the difference is 2%
Note that different ECUs have different tolerances, but all pedals tested in fiction have less than 4% difference

Isens

image
It is the current consumption of the TPS sensor.
