SCHlabs - Level meter for motorhome

The trailer and motorhome has 1, 2 or up to 3 tanks for liquids ( normally drink water, Sewage water, and grey in some case).
Also have bottled gas and electric circuit from 12 to 24v.

When you are on vacation is important control all level to avoid troubles in your travel.

This circuit can be configured to measure:

Drinking water
Sewage water
Remaining bottled gas
Battery Voltage

The same circuit can be configured to measure one of the 4 parameters, but only will measure one.
This is on this way because was made to add several circuits on cascade depending the customer requirement.
Is a customer have 2 tanks will use 2 of ROD1, if only have bottled gas will use only one and so in the quantity and combination that customer require.

Details

Depending of work mode you will need the red led up or the red led down, the device have 6 RGB led that are activated under selected profile.
In the rear part there are 3 connection that will done by the installer:

Mode 0 & 1 Liquid level
Measure the continuity of water. To avoid the rust for electrolisis manage a very high impedance and measurement only is activated 1mS every 2 seconds.
The probe will be connected to the 6 ways JST-XH connector.

Mode 2 & 3 Battery voltage of 12v and 24v
Measure the battery voltage from the own circuit supply and show the level to advice when you need recharge.
No additional connection needed, only the power supply of circuit ( 12v or 24v)

Mod 4 Liquid petroleum Gas, bottled gas with low pressure
As customer request, the measurement is made on pressure and not for weight or float level. For this reason, the device work with a pressure gauge modified to get a electronic signal.
Only require connect 4 of 6 terminals on JST-XH connector.
