Temperature probe in cylinder cover
Measure the temperature on cylinder cover
If it is well measured it is the ideal way to save the engine.
Measure with or without coolant
Depends a lot on the location of the probe
It can be affected by the heat of the exhaust pipe
It can be affected by frontal winds and other circumstances,
It is only recommended to be installed by experts who know exactly which screw and place to choose.
It has different variations to the usual ones
If you choose this form, take the following precautions:
C=Termic isolator ( polyuretane foam, expanded polystyrene, eva rubber)
A=cylinder cup or coolan pipe
-Support the probe against some place on the lid so that the temperature reaches the probe.
-Avoid that the probe be cooled by the wind.
-The probe is made of glass, do not pressure it, do not hit it, or twist it.
-Do not remove covers or gaskets or cap screws.
One way to do this is to find a screw that holds a sensor, which is at the height of the cylinder cover, and fasten it with an aluminum.
