Multi car sensor and actuator tester

The HMP1 is the most complete tool for mechanics testing, reading and/or emulating almost all car sensors.
It is so complete that it becomes the essential tool for servicing internal combustion vehicles.

Among its functions, we can highlight its ability to read and generate CKP & double CMP pulses simultaneously and the complete test of motorized throttle bodies and many more functions.

There are 3 types of possible actions for each sensor.
[T] Test. It means that the HMP1 can check the operation with the sensor/actuator outside the car (or disconnected)
[R] Reading. It means that you can read the operation without disconnecting it from the car and read/monitor its operation that way.
[E] Emulate. It means that the HMP will act as if it were the sensor so that the injection “believes” that the sensor is in place and working.

Pulse reader,Frequencymeter and PWM reader

This function is much more than frequencymeter, allow measure and analyze pulses coming from differents sensors and actuators.
Injectors, valves EGR, HALL sensors, LIN or PWM Alternators communication, turbes electronically actuators, and others pulses.

The HMP1 can read all pulses between 66mS and 166μS, or 15 Hz and 6000Hz (cycles at seconds), more greater of 2v and lower than 20v.
The pulses must be in on TPS1 pin of HMP1 as image show. Is good idea use a wire puncture or multimeter probe.

image

1) Connect a test cable to the TPS1 input of the device. But do not make contact with anything.
2) Connect the 12v and wait for the menu to appear on the screen.
3) Press the "+" and "-" buttons until you see writing "Pulse Rd" and press "Ok"
4) The system have 3 screens, can be switched presing "+" and "-"
4.1) Good for analysis of EGR, alternators and turbes.
HZ
Incoming frequency measured in Hertz ( cycles by seconds)
Duty
Duty of pulses, is the percentaje of time that the signal have a voltage more greater to 3v

4.2) Ideal for Hall sensors analysis, injectors, Ignition modules.
[tbl] Off : time of the input is on 0v measured in miliseconds (mS)
On : Is the time that the input have more than 3v, measured in miliseconds (mS)
4.3) Good for the input of ignition modules that show the Dwell angle applied expresed in percentaje (%).
Is taken as active the time that are 0v on the input.

NOTA:The maximum voltage on the input is 20v, so you can't connect directly to the ignition coil coil (output of module)
