Monitor and Data Logger for seaship


Complete system that measure and shot all ship parameter. Indicating with a red box when some is out of value.
Linked with a GPS all data is stored in a datalog file into a microSD card.

-6 Temperatures between -30°c ~ 130°c (-22°f~266°f)
-1 Temperature between 0°c ~ 1023°c (32°f~1873.4°f)
-1 OIL pressure 0~150 Psi ( 0 ~ 10.3 Bar)
-2 Voltages 0~16v
-4 Voltages 0~30v
-Geolocalization
-Speed and actual direction


Also you can check fuel consumption, fuel level, doors or another data up to 21 sensors
All data can be rised to the cloud and check from anywhere in the world.

Installation

The equipment should be placed in a place away from excessive heat, separated from the weather and as far as possible from the humidity. No more than 6 meters from the monitor.
And no more than 10 meters from an outside window for the GPS to take a signal.
Can be placed in almost any angle taking care that do not exist holes in the upper side, because a drip or humidity can be condensed inside.

Puede ser colocado en casi cualquier ángulo siempre que se observe que no queden agujeros mirando hacia arriba ya que un goteo o la humedad puede condensar dentro.
Despite being solid state, the ideal is to put it somewhere without too much vibration.
It is advisable to run the cables through a fitting to maintain a certain tightness. image

NTC temperatures connections
The temperature sensors must be fixed in the terminals 1 to 6 of module 0.
The sensor have 2 cables, one to ground ( terminal 0 ) and another to the terminal 1 to 6 as showed into following diagram.

The sensors touch the surface with the temperature to measure. The best is take care that act by external contact.
This mean that if the sensor is bad placed the measure will be wrong.
-The probe must have the maximum contact with the heat zone
-The sensor is of crystal, dont do pressure, do not hit,

-Evite que la sonda sea enfriada por el viento.
-The probe is made of glass, don't put pressure on it, don't hit it, or twist it

Oil pressure connection
The sensor must be screwed in the place defined by the motor for said measurement.
The electrical connection must be donde in the input 7 of module 0 and the terminal G of sensor. The body of sensor must be closed to ground.
K termocuple connection
This sensor type use very very small signals, so is important use a meshed cable, and respect the polarity as is marked.
Putting the red terminal to (+) of terminal block and the black terminal to (-) of terminal block.
This probe generally go inside of place to avoid any thermal looses for external contact.
Voltages connections
The values to measure uses the pins 1 to 6 of terminal block of module 1.
This connection are relatively easy, but must be donde carefully.
Each cable must habe a fuse of 1A, the most close to the point where the data is collected. So any cable touch or failure do not will start fire.
